St. Bernardine Medical Center

Recruitment and Marketing Campaign

Project Overview
Rapid and significant community growth, coupled with an 8.25% annual growth rate in patient admissions intensified the need for comprehensive hospital employee recruitment efforts. This came in the midst of a national nursing shortage. Success in recruitment and retention presented the opportunity to improve SBMC’s ability to fill positions, and, for the long-term, to differentiate and build awareness of the hospital’s quality care, culture and services, within the clinical community and the general population. The collaboration of Marketing, Human Resources and Nurse Recruitment departments, combining their financial and human resources for a united campaign, allowed the hospital to accomplish its goals.
